Residential Solar Power System
Get independence from rising electricity prices and reduce your monthly bills with your own home solar energy
How does solar energy work?
The principle is very simple: sunlight is turned into electricity. As the sun rises, your rooftop system begins producing power. During the day, your system can generate more power than you are consuming. This extra power goes back to the grid where it can be used by your neighbours. At night while you’re not producing solar energy, your home get its power from the grid. When you’re consuming more power than your solar is producing, you may still draw power from the grid.
1- Solar Panel: As the sun hits the solar panels, they generate Direct Current (DC) electricity. In order for DC electricity to be consumed by household appliances it needs to be converted into Alternating Current (AC) electricity.
2- Inverter: Through the inverter, DC electricity is converted into AC electricity that can be used in our home which is connected to your residential electric box.
3- Electric box: Your inverter will ensure your home always uses your own solar production first, only accessing additional energy from the grid when your own supply is not enough.
4- Meter: Electricity retailer will install a new bi-directional meter which will monitor both the incoming and outgoing of additional electricity generated by the solar panels.
5- Utility Grid: Your solar panels produce more energy than your home needs at any one time, that energy is sent back to the utility grid and you get credit for it on your electric bill
Benefits of Solar
Paying for electricity has been a zero-sum game between you and your utility, but that’s about to change. Investing in solar is the same as investing in your home, and homeowners typically save tens of thousands of dollars on utility bills over the life of their systems.
Did you know the average home saves 5.5 tons of CO2 within its first year of going solar? Switching from fossil fuels to solar energy is the equivalent of planting 1 acre of trees and driving 14,000 fewer miles per year. If you think your decisions can’t make a difference for the planet, think again!
The best part of going solar is knowing that you and your home are contributing to a clean energy future. Become a leader in your community by taking a step in the bright direction.
Raise Property Value
Homes with solar are valued and sold at an average price of $15,000 above other housing. Without increasing property taxes, solar homes will continually be in higher demand and sell faster in a growing marketplace. SOURCE
Credits & Incentives
There’s no better year than 2019 to go solar. Local incentives and the 30% Federal Tax Credit are here to support your decision to power your home with renewable energy and help you save green when you go green!
Power grids can be unstable at times. Whether you’ve experienced a prolonged blackout or your utility suddenly raised its prices, you always have a choice when it comes to your energy. Take advantage of low-interest financing to see instant savings with solar or cut ties with the grid altogether through battery storage.

Today, solar system costs less than traditional electricity in many markets. The cost of your solar system depends on several factors, including your current energy usage, your available amount of unshaded roofs pace, your location, roof shape and other factors. To get consultation or an accurate cost calculation of your project please contact us.
The amount of electricity a solar panel produces depends on three factore: solar cell efficiency, solar panel size and the amount of sunlight directly hitting the panel. Your SUPER SOLAR consultant will wok with you to decide how much energy you are usnig and map the solar installation to meet those needs.
Once installed, the solar power system is maintenance free. We do recommend periodically cleaning the panels to ensure they are performing well and checking the cables every couple of years.
The solar power system relies on sunlight and ultra violet rays, not heat. While there may be less hours of sunlight in winter, the actual conversion of power is unaffected by the change in season
Yes. Solar panels and inverters are designed to withstand exposure to the elements including rail, hail and strong winds.
Anually. solar panels lose close to half a percent in overall performance. After 10 years of operation, high quality solar panels will still be operating at almost 90 percent efficiency.
Yes. The solar panels come with a 10 year performance warranty whereas the inverter comes in with a 25 year warranty.
